7 Ways to Supercharge Your GEO Visibility on ChatGPT and Google AI

Entity SEO-GEO (General Engine Optimization) London, Ontario

1. Make sure your business is listed in the main business directories related to your industry, such as Yelp!, HomeStars, and TripAdvisor.

2. Answer as many of the FAQ’s related to your services or products. And put them on your services page. And also add in the schema mark-up.

3. Focus on Entity SEO, rather than keyword stuffing your website. In case you are unaware of Entity SEO, it refers to the optimization of content related to concepts, such as persons, places or products, rather than just keywords. For instance, say you are a lawyer specializing in DUI cases, then you will want to have blogs including some of the most frequently asked questions related to DUI cases, which provide context for Google about why you are a DUI expert, since all of the blogs will be linking back to your website.

Also add in the schema to your website’s pages for entities, such as for a local business, person, product, event, or organization, since utilizing schema markup on your website allows search engines to understand content online without having to use Natural Language Processing (NLP).

4. Also focus on getting more Google reviews for your business, since this is one of the main methods that ChatGPT uses for ranking businesses.

5. Frequently test out searching for the main questions on popular AI search engines, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI that people would look for when searching for your business. For instance, who are the top 5 home renovation experts in london, ontario?

6. Write in shorter, concise chunked content blocks. This makes it easier for AI search engines to read and understand your content, so you can show up higher for relevant queries related to your business.

7. If you get stuck when doing GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), just ask ChatGPT or Google AI for help. Make sure when you are doing this that the information is coming from reliable sources, such as Search Engine Land, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google.
